Bele obbattu

Bele obbattu is a south indian sweet that resembles roti in shape size and colour. It is eaten with milk or ghee and it tastes awesome. This one is in malleswaram tenth cross (corner shop in front of foodcamp). Don't miss to taste one when you pass by.

Isn't That Cute and Creative?

A Talk in the IS Dept @PESIT #2

Volunteers trying to create a Hamilton path by sending messages

A Talk in the IS Dept @PESIT #1

Delivered a talk  "Combinatorial Thinking" at pesit (information science department). The crowd was very jovial and energetic. This was a situation when we had ten volunteers on the stage trying to disprove the fascinating Erdos/Szeker's piece of magic trick.

Forgot to take a snap of 10 participants on the stage :-(

Money pond

Money pond in Germany.

If you throw some cents/euros into this pond making a wish, it will come true in no time.

And and and I heard Germans were the most open minded in the entire world....

Sexual networks

There were no questions from the audience all these days... But when Dr. Nina spoke about the science of sexual networks there were atleast 30 to 40 questions from the participants... Sex and celebrities anyday sell well.... :P

My beautiful jogging track

Place where I used to jog thrice a week.

Look at the German-English

Look at this German+english=Junglish :P

"Is the gayal a domestic animal

The question is difficult to answer since the gayal has many features of a domestic animal, but its not kept as such in its native country. Their way of life rather resemebles that of a semi-tame wild animal"

Very funny!!!!!

This was in the Heidelberg zoo :P

fire alarm

Fire alarm in our office got activated and everyone came out the way they would from a movie hall. This was in the middle of my class when I was teaching them networkx package.  Everyone casually stood up and left the class with a smile... grrrr.... this is not the era of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casabianca_(poem)

This was pasted in the kitchen of our office

A poll on which editor is the best.... I ticked for the "vi" editor *blink*

(Click on the image to enlarge it, you can then see the poll clearly.)

Zoo in Germany

Germans are great at raising funds... This is a food dispenser for the fishes and swans... Zoo personnels never feed the birds, they make the visitors feed them. Consequently, they make good money too. It costs 2Euros for cup of food.

Jessi tightrope walking

Jessi was confidently walking until I pointed my camera at her :-))

She helped me rope walk later... man!!! that was great fun!

Jessi held my hands and made me walk on the rope, wow that was romantic!!!! :P

Oh, I shouldn't be saying that... she is mac's gf :-((

Person who taught me to ball Juggle

Meet Mac, a friend I met in a park at Heidelberg. Learnt to 3 and 4 ball juggle from him. He called me a quick learner, Germans are good at giving pseudo compliments :P
